"Venezuela is willing to supply with raw materials to the Japanese company, as long as the business relationship develops within an ambiance of reciprocity. Kobe Steel would be a great ally to start the national development plans we have designed", said the Minister.
Likewise, he also explained that the fourth most important iron and steel company of Japan should consider an important factor being that it would not only supply the national market, but would also be benefited from supplying the international market too, considering that Venezuela is already a member of Mercosur.
Alvarez also stressed that the proposal made to the Japanese group has been also offered to other businessmen from India, China, Iran, Russia, Italy, and to other countries that have also showed interest in investing in Venezuela.
Mibam should revise all the proposals made by numerous businessmen worldwide and would validate those close to the interests of the country, stated the government official
