The Maritime Guides of both COMSIGUA HBI and DRI Fines contain the procedures for the handling, loading, sea-carriage and unloading of our products and by-products in the safest possible way. The material Safety Data Sheets include information on the health risks, material composition, first-aid, emergency procedures, among others. Particularly, the Maritime Guides are being revised in line with the new International maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code to be approved and publish soon by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The new IMSBC Code will be adopted voluntarily by member states beginning January 1st. 2009 and will become mandatory under SOLAS as of January 1st. 2011.
